_We'll continue to prioritize members interest - Comrade Akinrinlola, Ondo NULGE President_
The leadership of Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Ondo State has extended warm congratulations to all local government workers in the state stressing that the dawn of the new year is a time for reflection, renewed commitment, and optimism for the journey ahead.
The New Year message is contained in a release personally signed by the State President, Comrade Fredrick Gbenga Akinrinlola.
According to him, the outgone year presented its fair share of challenges, but with members unwavering dedication, resilience, and commitment, much was achieved.
'As a union, we stood united in our pursuit of fairness, improved working conditions, and better welfare for all members and together, we made significant strides in attaining improved welfare packages as well as successful negotiations, among others", the statement further reads.
While praying God to make the year a fruitful one for members, Comrade Akinrinlola expressed optimism that the New Year will open up more opportunities for members even as the union continues to prioritize members' interest, ensure better working conditions and provide access to capacity building among others.
He thus called for more support in the new year noting that not much can be achieved without the cooperaton of members across the state.
He also used the opportunity to charge members to remain steadfast, committed, and professional in the discharge of their duties by exemplifying excellence and integrity at their work places.
