On behalf of the Specialist Hospital, Ondo, the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Adeola Akintade, has expressed profound grief over the sudden demise of Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi, fondly called Tukana, who served as the Secretary to the Ondo State Government.
In a statement, Dr. Akintade described Tukana as a distinguished leader whose dedication to the progress of Ondo State was unwavering.
“The news of Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi’s passing is both shocking and heartbreaking. He was a man of unparalleled integrity, an advocate for equity, and a symbol of selfless service. His contributions to the governance of Ondo State will remain a legacy of inspiration for generations to come,” Dr. Akintade said.
Speaking on behalf of the hospital staff and management, Dr. Akintade extended heartfelt condolences to the Ondo State Governor, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, acknowledging the void Tukana’s passing has created.
“This is an immense loss, not only to the governor but also to the entire Sunshine State. We share in the grief of His Excellency, the government, and the people of Ondo State. Tukana’s unwavering loyalty and commitment to the state will always be remembered,” he added.
Dr. Akintade further prayed for strength and comfort for Tukana’s family, urging them to draw solace from his impactful life and service.
“May the Almighty grant his family, friends, and the entire state the fortitude to bear this painful loss. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace,” he concluded.
The Specialist Hospital, Ondo, stands united with the people of Ondo State in mourning the irreplaceable loss of a great leader and statesman.

May the soul of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace 🕊️ amen. He's a man of humility, he's part of who made me who i am academically today, he even promised to see what he can do when am done with my masters program now am done death took him. I will for ever be grateful for your deeds despite the fact that you did not know me our contact was just coinsidental on that faithful day and you still pay for my form that i must achieve my goal in life.
