…Warns Stakeholders To Stop Dropping His Name
Senator representing Ondo Southern Senatorial District, Dr. Jimoh Ibrahim CFR has distanced himself from the ongoing crisis in the Okitipupa Oil Palm Company and some individuals.
He warned all stakeholders to stop dropping his name as partaker in the crisis.
In a statement personally signed by the senator on Friday, he stated emphatically that he’s not part of the crisis.
He, therefore, exonerated himself from all the statements or discourses as claims made by some persons.
Senator Ibrahim added that he does not fight in secret, saying if he wants to fight he does so in the open.
He implored the feuding parties to embrace dialogue or allow the state government to intervene.
But the senator advised that if dialogue or intervention from state government could not resolve the issue, they should approach the court for solution
The statement reads inter alia: “My attention has been drawn to some ongoing disagreement between some group of people and the Oil Palm Company in Okitipupa within Ondo Southern Senatorial District which I am currently representing at the Senate.
“I was informed that some persons have been dropping my name as the supporter of the face-off.
“I hereby state unequivocally that I have neither been involved nor supported the crisis.
“Also, I hereby warn all those who have been dropping my name as the sponsor or supporter of the face-off to desist from dropping my name.
“All parties to the crisis are warned not to mention my name nor get me involved in the crisis.
“I don’t fight secretly, if I want to fight, I fight in the open.
“I advise all the parties involved to embrace dialogue or invite the Ondo State Government to resolve the matter for you.
“In the worst scenario, you can approach the court to seek redress.”
