Members of the Elemo dynasty, the Adedipes and Omoregie yesterday observed the traditional 7-day burial rites to celebrate the life of their late mother, Olori Adenike Adetutu Adedipe who slept in the Lord on Tuesday 18th February, 2025.
At the event held at the residence of Dr. Olubunmi Ademosu-Williams with the Elemo of Akure, Snr. High Chief Segun Adedipe presiding over, friends, extended family members and other associates trooped in to pay their respect.
Late Olori Adenike Adetutu Adedipe was one of the Oloris of their late Patriarch, High Chief Bolanle Adedipe.
In attendance included Chief Ileowo Adedipe the Adaja of Oba-Ile, Chief Sehinde Awopetu, the Onisinkin of Ilemo, Chief Aruwajoye Adedipe the Akuajo of Ilemo as well as one-time Regent Bisoye Adedipe of Ilemo Quarters.
Other callers are Sanya Adedipe, Kunle Adedipe and many other prominent friends and family members including former Commissioners Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye, Arch Jide Adejuyigbe, Gbenga Olaniyi, a leader of the All Progressives Congress, Festus Aregbesola, former member of the state house of assembly, Honourable Tayo Abidakun, Retired Permanent Secretary, Mike Osodi and current Permanent Secretary in the office of Public and Intergovernmental Relations, Mrs. Yemi Pirisola as well as representatives of Lions Club and the socio-cultural organisation, Ajapada
Describing late Olori Adedipe as a woman who lived a life of impact, Dr. Bunmi Ademosu-Williams affirmed the cordial relationship that existed between her and other wives, noting that she spent her life serving humanity.
