In recognition of remarkable achievements and inspiring leadership, multiple award winners, Dr. Olumuyiwa Adu and Surveyor Kayode Oludare among others on Sunday, March 16th, 2025 bagged Leadership and Exceptional Service Awards from The Face of African TV during the unveiling of The Giant Award in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
Speaking shortly after receiving the award, Surveyor Kayode Oludare thanked the organizers just as he applauded the iniatiative, expressing great delight at the honour.
He said the award will no doubt spur him him to do more just as he acknowledged the role of free press in the development of the society.
Particularly, he restated the importance of giving one's best shot at every endeavour as some people consciously take note of such with the hope to reward such labour in due season.
Giving his remarks during the event, Bar. Adu admonished the people to be the change they desire to see in the society if truly they desire to see a better state and naton.
Earlier in her address, the convener, Ms. Oluwaseun Olowoselu said those honoured were distinguished men and women who have excelled in their various fields and have made tremendous impact on the society.
Some of the other awardees at the event include Amb. High Chief Ijiti, Hon. Ajayi Femi Alabora among others.
Other highlights include a guest lecture by Dr. Ola Olalere who took time to explore the concept of poverty and the way out for Nigerians.
